May 1, 2011 - We are pleased to announce on that on May 4-5 we will be conducting a 2 day seminar on the "Science & Chemistry of Coffee" in Barcelona, Spain.

Through a joint alliance  with Spanish Cultural Forum of Coffee - this members only event is aimed at furthering this already sophisticated Spanish/Catalunian coffee market. Previous educators include the renowned coffee experts including Dr. Marino Petracco of Illy Coffee and author of numerous technical coffee books.

February 1, 2011 - We wanted to congratulate our friend Samuel Demisse  of Keffa Coffee for appearing this week on the CBS Baltimore News. Thanks to the help of Towson University, dozens of locals entrepreneurs have been supported in getting their business off the ground.

But Samuel is more than just a importer but also a member of a select group of cuppers - he is a  licensed Q Grader and someone with a great palate.

Towson will be conducting a Business Plan Competition later this month - the business selected will be awarded with office space as well as marketing support. We wish you all the best Samuel, the world needs more fine Ethiopian coffee!

By the way, if you look closely in the video - you can see our TDS/pH meters (0:26min) and caffeine molecule (1:28min) hiding at the very back. Great coffee is all about the science & chemistry of the bean.

January 15, 2011 - Welcome back and to the beginning of an exciting new year!

Last month we were fortunate enough to have been interviewed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in Scotland for a documentary entitled  "How to Make the Perfect Coffee".

This multi-part series will include several well know coffee experts including the likes of - Joseph A. Rivera (scientist - USA), James Hoffman (UK - '07 WBC) as well as several well known figures in the industry.

Unfortunately we missed when the broadcasting first aired - but the BBC will repeat the airing in the next coming weeks.
